Raw Steroids Anti Estrogen Medication Lentaron Formestane CAS 566-48-3
|CAS Registry Number||566-48-3|
|Appearance||White crystalline powder|
Formestanes is a second generation, irreversible, steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It inhibits the aromatase enzyme responsible for converting androgens to estrogens, thereby preventing estrogen production. Breast cancer may be estrogen sensitive or insensitive. A majority of breast cancers are estrogen sensitive. Estrogen sensitive breast cancer cells depend on estrogen for viability. Thus removal of estrogen from the body can be an effective treatment for hormone sensitive breast cancers. Formestanes has been targeted specifically for the treatment of postmenopausal women. Unlike premenopausal women who produce most estrogen in the ovaries, postmenopausal women produce most estrogen in peripheral tissues with the help of the aromatase enzyme. Formestanes, an aromatase inhibitor, can thus help to decrease the local production of estrogen by blocking the aromatase enzyme in peripheral tissues (ie. Adispose tissue of the breast) to treat hormone sensitive breast cancer.
Formestanes has a very long active life on the order of 24-36 hours. You can get any sport supplement version capsules for around $40 US or less. This amount of $ will usually last you about 3-4 weeks at a sufficient dosage of 200-400mg per day. I have found 200mg a day to be perfect for on cycle anti-estrogen usage and for post-cycle recovery of natural testosterone. Formestanes has zero negative feedback (even though it is an androgen by definition) and serves to elevate natural testosterone as well as any anti-estrogen/anti-aromatase drug out there, next to clomid.

How to Use
Formestane has a very long active life on the order of 24-36 hours. For most users, a 100mg capsule in the morning, and another at night before bed will work well to keep a good deal of water off you. Again, it depends on your susceptibility to aromatization and what drugs and dosages of anabolics you are using. Never the less, this should suffice for most. Remember, formestane attacks the aromatase enzyme and is therefore a first line inhibitor. So if you need immediate relief of estrogen during your cycle, you need a second class drug (estrogen receptor blocker) such as nolvadex or clomid. Formestane is a lot like arimidex in its mechanism of action in attacking the aromatase enzyme itself.
Lentaron is available as an intramuscular depot injection, and is often found in 2 ml ampules of 125 mg/ml solution. The recommended dosage for bodybuilder purposes is the same as that for advanced breast cancer therapy, namely 250 mg per week. Formestane can also be found, and taken in the same 250 mg per week dosage in its oral form, but the oral had poor bioavailability is no longer a popular version of this drug.
Aromatase converts androstenedione to estrone, and also converts testosterone to estradiol. Lentaron is often used to suppressestrogen production during anabolic steroids and prohormone cycles. Due largely to Lentarons similarity to androstenedione, it also acts as a prohormone to 4-hydroxytestosterone , an active steroid which displays weak androgenic activity in addition to serving as a mild aromatase inhibitor.
Male bodybuilders and athletes also use it to prevent estrogenic side effects from anabolic steroids, to improve fat loss, and to increase muscle definition while dieting. However, several conclusive studies have demonstrated Lentarons estrogen blocking inferiority when compared to third generation AIs like Arimidex and Femara so its far less popular.
